Classic pomace made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes from Burgundy.
Blissfully warm on the palate with delicate oak notes and full earthy and fruity aromas. A harmonious and characterful Marc de Bourgogne.
The very old Marc de Bourgogne Briottet is produced by distilling Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape musts from the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune. Its exceptional quality is achieved through aging for more than 10 years in used oak barrels (barriques). The result is a refined complexity paired with elegant power – the perfect digestif!
Maison Briottet, based in Dijon, was founded in 1836 and remains family-owned to this day. Initially, the company traded exclusively in wines, mostly from Chambolle-Musigny and Gevrey-Chambertin.
From 1900 onwards, a distillery was purchased and production of Crème de Cassis began, especially due to the increasing demand for Kir.
Thanks to centuries of expertise, Briottet has managed to hold its own against the competition. Even today, the name Briottet stands for spirits and liqueurs of the highest quality.
