Tastings in October 2019, we keep partying!

now autumn is really here, with rain, blustery gusts of wind and cooler temperatures.
You don't have to be sad about it - just look forward to the great tastings and events that await you with us.
And the good thing is that it is now warmer in the store than outside.
What can you expect from us this week?
Erika Mayr and her city bee honey
About 10 years ago, Erika Mayr was gripped by bee fever and since then has been a city beekeeper accompanied by the humming spirit.
Fascinated by the fact that bee colonies as superorganisms can adapt almost anywhere and produce honey in all places where nectar flows, she harvests around 400 kg of honey a year with her almost 20 bee colonies.
Their bee colonies are in very special places in Berlin: On the roof of the Berlin Exhibition Center in Charlottenburg, the Mitte power plant and also at the Zeughof in Kreuzberg.
What is special about roof honey is the taste of the tree trunks and its low water content. The honey is full-bodied and unique every year.
On Friday, Erika will tell you what else characterizes city bee honey and how bees in the city are in general, while you try to taste the different blossoms in the honey.
When: Friday, October 4th from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m
As always, registration is not required. The event takes place in addition to the regular sale in our shop at Wilmersdorfer Emser Straße 42.
Anabela Campos-Neves from Anabelas Kitchen
Last week we hosted our favorite French guy and this week we're visiting our favorite Portuguese girl: Anabela Campos-Neves .
For 11 years, Anabela has been pampering her guests in her Anabelas Kitchen restaurant with a very special mix of Mediterranean and German cuisine made from seasonal and regional products.
Let's see what Anabela conjures up for you on Saturday... Deixe-se surpreender!
When: Saturday, October 5th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m
