Champagne tasting with Champagne Moutard
The champagne house Moutard looks back on a long history and has been in the hands of the eponymous family since it was founded in 1642 (!!!). Since we have a soft spot for family businesses and outstanding products, it made sense for us to cooperate with Moutard.
After spending a full three hours at the Moutard stand at the Prowein wine fair this year and tasting our way through the entire range (which was hard work!), we are delighted that Benoît Moutard, the youngest son of the house, is now welcoming us in Visited Berlin to present us and you with a nice selection of his treasures. Guaranteed a tingling experience!
The Moutard vineyard is located in the south of Champagne, on the sun-drenched slopes of the Côte des Bar. To ensure that the champagnes are perfectly mature and can be enjoyed straight away, they are aged in the cellar for at least three years, while the vintage champagnes are aged for ten to fifteen years .
Let's see what Benoît brings us this time...!
