Tannic white wine with 4 months maceration. Handpicked selected Moscatel Galego grapes from 40 year old vineyards.

The vineyards are located in the sub-region of Cima-Corgo (Alijó) at an average altitude of 600 meters and grow on slate and granite soils.

The winemaking:

  • The grapes are harvested in early September.
  • Whole bunches ferment spontaneously in cement tanks, without mechanical extraction.
  • Maceration on the skins for 4 months. Pressed at the end of January.
  • No SO2 addition, no fining or filtration.
  • Bottled in February 2022.

Intense opal yellow color. The wine shows an intense concentration of aromas with notes of rose petals, lychee and tangerines. The medium-bodied palate shows some tannic tension and medium acidity leading to a lingering finish.

Serve chilled, between 10-12°C. A complex and mysterious wine, full of structure, suitable for intense gastronomy.

The wines of the "Uivo" series are produced by Tiago Sampaio at an average altitude of 600 meters above sea level in the high altitudes of the Douro Valley. The grapes grow on the family vineyards.
The entire manufacturing process is carefully monitored and controlled, mixing knowledge acquired over generations with new scientific developments. The result is complex wines, mysterious and seductive, of great gastronomic versatility.
Next time you travel to Porto, visit the Taberna Folias de Baco. It belongs to Tiago and the food and the wines are top notch.

  • Goods value up to €80.00 = €8.95 with DHL, €6.95 with DPD, Hermes or UPS
  • For orders over €80.00 (after deduction of all discounts) we offer free shipping.

Shipping of heavy orders

For orders with a total weight of more than 10 kg, we reserve the right to ship exclusively via the shipping service providers DPD or UPS. This measure serves to ensure a reliable and efficient shipping process for heavier shipments.

We ask for your understanding for this regulation, which enables us to ensure smooth shipping even for larger order quantities.

Deliveries to Austria and Denmark

We calculate the shipping costs based on the order value (gross value of goods):

  • Goods value up to 149.99 € = 15.00 € (UPS)
  • For orders over 150.00 € (after deduction of all discounts) we offer free shipping.
Delivery times

Unless a different deadline is specified in the respective offer, the goods will be delivered domestically (Germany) within 5 to 7 working days.
If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will send the goods in one shipment unless we have made different arrangements with you. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item you ordered with the longest delivery time.

Where do you ship to?

Delivery is currently only in Germany and Austria.

With which shipping service provider do you ship?

We currently only work with UPS or DHL. You will be asked to select a delivery method during the ordering process.

How long does it take until I receive my order?

That depends on where you are. Orders to Germany take 3 to 5 working days to arrive. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

How can I track my order?

After your shipment has left our warehouse and has been scanned by the carrier, you will receive an automatic e-mail overnight with tracking information.
