We have been working with Domaine Joël Delaunay for a few years and we love this Sauvignon de Touraine!

Pale gold robe. Predominantly fruity on the nose (lime, grapefruit, vineyard peach), floral background (boxwood). Very thirst-quenching on the palate, which impresses with its freshness perfectly matched to the fruit. These continue in the final. Very tasty as an aperitif or with seafood.

Very harmoniously balanced, long and fat, it flatters the mouth with its freshness and fruitiness and has a nice drinking flow.

With every vintage, you can clearly see how important and decisive for the quality of the wine is the work of the vintner in the vineyards. There is no technology that helps, only a strict selection of the winery. This year Joël Delaunay has outdone himself and delivered a sensational mineral Sauvignon that easily outperforms some other Rieslings. However, the quantities are very small, which makes it a small rarity.

The Domaine Joel Delaunay is located in the heart of the Loire region in the heart of the famous Loire Castles, between Chenonceau and Chambord, 50 kilometers east of Tours on the left side of the Cher Valley. Here it extends over 27 hectares.

The domaine has been family-owned for 5 generations and has had its current name since 1965. Today it is run by Thierry Delaunay, a trained winemaker.

Deliveries to Austria and Denmark

Delivery times

Unless a different deadline is specified in the respective offer, the goods will be delivered domestically (Germany) within 5 to 7 working days.
If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will send the goods in one shipment unless we have made different arrangements with you. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item you ordered with the longest delivery time.
