The olive oil from Nyons is creamy and impresses with its delicate aromas of green apple, hazelnuts, fresh butter and freshly mown grass.

It has a slight bitter note and a nice tension. Its color is slightly golden with delicate green reflections.

It is the pure juice of the rare olive variety Tanche, a black olive with a large stone and wrinkled skin that is usually harvested in January as a light late harvest.

Only a few hours pass between harvesting and pressing, so the oil is particularly fresh and contains all the aromas of the fruit.

To obtain this special oil, the olives are first washed to remove all foreign bodies (leaves, stones, insects). They are then ground with our own stone. The resulting paste is now pressed in a pneumatic press – analogous to wine. The oil is filtered exclusively by gravity (by all suspended particles settling). The pressing is carried out mechanically and is a so-called cold pressing at less than 27 degrees. By avoiding any contact with air, it is possible to avoid oxidation and preserve the original aromas.

An old Provençal saying goes: “You should drink wine as old as possible, olive oil as young as possible.” And so we recommend storing the oil in a dark, cool place after opening the bottle.

Vignolis is a cooperative from the heart of Provence. This only grows olives of the Tanche variety. These were the only olives protected by AOC. The special feature: the black, fully ripe fruits can only be harvested after the first frost in December to January. This and the immediate processing ensures the incomparable taste.

These high-quality products are still hardly known in Germany, but have had cult status in France for a long time.

Delivery times

Unless a different deadline is specified in the respective offer, the goods will be delivered domestically (Germany) within 5 to 7 working days.
If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will send the goods in one shipment unless we have made different arrangements with you. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item you ordered with the longest delivery time.

Where do you ship to?

Delivery is currently only in Germany and Austria.

With which shipping service provider do you ship?

We currently only work with UPS or DHL. You will be asked to select a delivery method during the ordering process.
