After a round of golf (or a walk…): A round of ginseng!

A refined bitter with a full-bodied bouquet and elegant body based on ginseng root. Ginseng (Panax ginseng) was already one of the most sought-after roots 2000 years ago and was sometimes traded more expensively than gold.

In particular, the qualitatively pure roots are limited, so that ginseng is still considered an absolute luxury rarity. Enjoy the elixir pure as a digestif after a meal, or on ice with friends or as a drink, for example with ginger ale.

So that the full taste can unfold, we recommend slowly rolling the digestif in your mouth, just like at a wine tasting. The aromas unfold optimally at 21°C.

Once opened, it will keep for several months without any problems.

After maturing for several weeks, ginseng, selected tinctures and essences from ginger, cinchona, gentian, nutmeg, cardamom, zedoary, cloves, bitter orange peel, juniper, centaury, cinnamon bark, galangal, camphor, lavender, valerian, citronella, angelica root, and a Hints of saffron to the balanced heart of the elixir.

For decades, the Jagla family of pharmacists has been using medieval monastery recipes and traditional herbalism to manufacture bitter elixirs. The Jaglas macerate – still by hand – carefully matured spirits from the purest alcohol, exquisite bitter plants in pharmacopeia quality (test-certified according to DAB and Ph.Eur.), fine spices and essential oils.

  • Goods value up to €80.00 = €8.95 with DHL, €6.95 with DPD, Hermes or UPS
  • For orders over €80.00 (after deduction of all discounts) we offer free shipping.

Shipping of heavy orders

For orders with a total weight of more than 10 kg, we reserve the right to ship exclusively via the shipping service providers DPD or UPS. This measure serves to ensure a reliable and efficient shipping process for heavier shipments.

We ask for your understanding for this regulation, which enables us to ensure smooth shipping even for larger order quantities.

Deliveries to Austria and Denmark

  • Goods value up to 149.99 € = 15.00 € (UPS)
  • For orders over 150.00 € (after deduction of all discounts) we offer free shipping.
Delivery times

Unless a different deadline is specified in the respective offer, the goods will be delivered domestically (Germany) within 5 to 7 working days.
If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will send the goods in one shipment unless we have made different arrangements with you. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item you ordered with the longest delivery time.

Where do you ship to?

Delivery is currently only in Germany and Austria.

With which shipping service provider do you ship?

We currently only work with UPS or DHL. You will be asked to select a delivery method during the ordering process.

How long does it take until I receive my order?

That depends on where you are. Orders to Germany take 3 to 5 working days to arrive. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

How can I track my order?

After your shipment has left our warehouse and has been scanned by the carrier, you will receive an automatic e-mail overnight with tracking information.
