Conceito Legítimo reflects the terroir of the high altitudes of the Douro. The ancient roots of the Douro region speak through him in a light and seductive way. In addition to great port wines, good and unpretentious table wines have always been produced in the Douro. These wines, which have always been on the tables of the common people and also on those of the Quinta owners, have always been kept secret, never bottled, labeled or exported.

Legítimo is a wine of joy, friendly, intense and with depth. A perfect companion at the table.

The wine is velvety, with a long finish. It goes well with cheese, pasta, pizza, salami...

The healthy, ripe grapes are manually harvested early in the morning to preserve natural freshness. There is hardly any intervention in the cellar, great attention is paid to cleanliness in order to preserve the beautiful aroma. So the customer can look forward to a modern wine with a connection to the past.

The Legítimo is the counterpart to the Bastardo and offers an alternative to those who have been disappointed every year because the popular wine was sold out too early. With the typical Douro grape varieties, the Legítimo aims for a seductive charm that makes it soft, fresh and appetizing. Made with minimal intervention, it is characterized by a natural and direct style.

Anyone who is interested in the wines from the Douro Valley cannot ignore Rita Marques Ferreira. She is currently one of the most highly traded new generation winemakers in this region. Their wines regularly receive the best ratings from international wine critics.

Rita's family has been growing wine in the upper Douro for several generations. She learned her craft in Bordeaux and then worked as a “flying winemaker” in New Zealand and South Africa. Now she has returned to her roots and holds the scepter of the winery firmly in her hand.
An impressive 85 hectares of vineyards are cultivated by hand at an altitude of 500 meters. The approach is generally very close to nature and consciously avoids the use of herbicides and systemic plant protection products.
She sells part of the harvest to other wineries. Every year she selects the best vineyards for her own winery and produces elegant, fresh wines with lots of freshness and minerality. Everything is well thought out because Rita has a concept. Hence the name: Conceito.

  • For orders over €80.00 (after deduction of all discounts) we offer free shipping.

Shipping of heavy orders

For orders with a total weight of more than 10 kg, we reserve the right to ship exclusively via the shipping service providers DPD or UPS. This measure serves to ensure a reliable and efficient shipping process for heavier shipments.

We ask for your understanding for this regulation, which enables us to ensure smooth shipping even for larger order quantities.

Deliveries to Austria and Denmark

We calculate the shipping costs based on the order value (gross value of goods):

  • Goods value up to 149.99 € = 15.00 € (UPS)
  • For orders over 150.00 € (after deduction of all discounts) we offer free shipping.
Delivery times

Unless a different deadline is specified in the respective offer, the goods will be delivered domestically (Germany) within 5 to 7 working days.
If you have ordered items with different delivery times, we will send the goods in one shipment unless we have made different arrangements with you. In this case, the delivery time is determined by the item you ordered with the longest delivery time.

Where do you ship to?

Delivery is currently only in Germany and Austria.

We currently only work with UPS or DHL. You will be asked to select a delivery method during the ordering process.

That depends on where you are. Orders to Germany take 3 to 5 working days to arrive. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

After your shipment has left our warehouse and has been scanned by the carrier, you will receive an automatic e-mail overnight with tracking information.
